Plenty of water to mess around in the Royal Gee right now. Actually there's some decent play and fun moves.
I'm trying to stoke a Sunday Gore run. But if I can't rally a crew for that, I'd be happy to hit the Gorge. I'll decide by Thursday.
If you're in Canon on Sunday morning, you catch a ride from C. Springs to Gore with me if you're interested ...
Like Id said, it still is very boatable. I did it last Monday at 310, and only had a couple of scrape sections that took a hip flick to get out of (all before and after the Gorge). I'd be down to float it this weekend, as it looks like the weather will be nice. What day / time?
Tunnel Drive is located on the western edge of Canon City. As you go by the Territorial Prison there is a big sweeping turn on US 50. Tunnel drive is a left hand turn at the end of it. Tunnel Drive is the preferred take-out once the Canon City wave goes away.
I'd love to join you guys but I am comitted this weekend.
Bull I think I know your brother Jack. He paddles a red hero doesn't he? Now a lot of people will tell you I don't know Jack, but I do.
