i had am incept duckie for years...i got it used and abused....used and abused it for 5 years myself and sold it to a guy that for my knowledge still abuses it...it was great...it was tough...i dont think comparing saturn to incept is even a comparison...one is glued in china and one is welded in new zealand...these are different manufacturing processes as well as different countries...oh yeah there different hemispheres..quote]

No i totally understand all of that, If you read my post again carefully you will see I said
"The Incept rafts are very similar in style to the saturn but are welded seems."
Which meens that if you put a Saturn 15' and an incept 15' next to each other they look similar. thats all, just look similar as in not at all like Maravia or AIRE or even Vanguard or Avon.
Don't make me post a picture of them side by side! :D
Thanks for the input

Thats the problem with most people there so one sided Saturn is here to stay and there is nothing any of you can do about it, I own a 14' and am very pleased im on the river at least 4 to 5 days a week as a fishing guide im very rough on my raft, Ive had 2 puma, 1 aire and i can say this I will never buy another over priced raft again. If its safe and gets you down river who cares if its an over priced puma or a cheap saturn bottom line is it gets the job done. The reason most of you are angry is because you paid to much for your raft lol, so you come on here and bitch about something you dont even own! I paid 1,300.00 for my 14' saturn and ive rescued guys in there puma and aires, and recoverd to punctured nrs they all will sink.

saturn great ducky

Yea I purchased my 14' saturn from Cody and he sent me an email!! So what, I would have never known so many people were talking so much trash about saturn rafts if he hadnt. Ive been a sales manager of many multi million dollar dealerships and ive been on the bashing side of things before, Ive worked for Honda 7 yrs, Toyota 8 yrs, Ford for 3 yrs and Now im a retired Full time fishing Guide who floates every Wa state river there is. Seems like some of you Rush dum fck Lmball fans have to much time on your hands to come on here and bash Saturn and Cody, The only reason why is that saturn is selling alot of Ducks now days, And that some of us didnt care about the name on the outside of our rafts! I grnty $$$ that I can out row and Float most of you dumb ass, and I challange any taker any day in my saturn raft!! email me If you wont to put yr $$$ werew yr MOUTH is or are you BROKE BECAUSE OF YOUR OVER PRICED DUCK!!

"worked for Honda 7 yrs, Toyota 8 yrs, Ford for 3 yrs and Now im a retired Full time fishing Guide"

Car salesman, fishing guide, buckkiller - couldn't invent a less credible set of credentials. I guess you could add carnival barker, but why smear carnival barkers.

wow these guys are sensitive...i never bashed your boat...ive been more interested in how these things are doing...but to openly compare these things because they look like other boats is stupid...whats up with that $$$ challenge...got some security issues there...ok you want people to acknoledge these boats...float it down gore...and dude you know that something is gonna go wrong if $$$ is part of it...no one wants injury to anyone...you do this and people other than saturn owners will give you and your boat props...ps i dont fish

Took my Saturn on the Yough

Just took my Saturn RD-365 oversized 12' ducky (but it's really a whitewater raft just not as wide), anyways I took down the Lower Yough this past weekend and it seemed to bounce off rocks and track pretty good. Squared up nice in the rapids and made it thru some semi-nasty holes that would have flip other rafts, half of that was luck but it still seemed to perform good.

Mr. Buckster - If you're so loaded and so retired, why did you buy a cheap boat? I understand those with limited means buying 'em, but why you? Just curious...

I am not in any way related or indebted to Saturn or RM Rafts. I am a regular Joe. I could not afford a new Hyside or Vanguard raft, then on Craigslist I saw the Saturn. At first I was skeptical. I waited until the end of last season to get a used Hyside but the deal fell through after wasting the record runoff season in limbo. I decided to try the Saturn. I got the 15' with 20" pontoons. I have taken this raft on the river 26 days since March. I have done four multi-day trips with all my camping gear. Bottom line is this is a GOOD RAFT! It fills up with air easily, it doesn't bend in the rapids. It can handle up to 5PSI but I ussually stop around 3PSI. It folds up very small-everyone told me PVC won't do that but this one does. I like the valves on the inside but apparently they are changing that to the outside. This weekend I saw their 15' with 24" Pontoons on the Colorado. The owner plans to run the Grand Canyon in March with this boat.
My boat has lots of handles(6) and came with 12 factory installed D-rings. The floor system is flat and firm. It has a good cant. I am very pleased with my Saturn. I hope it brings the costs of other brands down to reality. I have run Westwater twice this year, and I will do it at least twice over this winter. For all you people out there that can't swing $4000 for a new raft, the Saturn rocks.
Email me privately and I will prove I am not a spoof. I live in Carbondale and float the Roaring Fork and Colorado. You can come look at it if you want. I agree that the rep from RM Rafts should not write about his product under an alias-that's bogus. But my point still stands-this boat is for real. I don't know how long it will last but based on this year I plan to still be using it in ten years.
