Anyone have a good technique for rolling these? They seem to turn into a sh*tshow in my rig bag.
I have my cam straps marked at the end...that way 1) they show up easy when the tail is hanging loose from teh roller storage and 2) if I cut them, I can mark the new length.I have my straps marked by length next to the cam buckle

Mine really never leave the frame for the most part when I got off the river I cinch and tie everything together and strap it up on the frame, so I’m not reinventing every time.Curious what others do but I pair mine up and then double or fold them over until they are a couple feet long and then tie a half hitch in them.
LOL, oh yeah those, roll 'em if you got 'em like a regular strap
Roll them like a climbing rope. I made this for straps. But you could also just roll and tie them in any section of tough fabric. They can't get tangled if they can't move.

@zfeldman has a really sweet setup, and it looks like a nice step up from the prototype strap tree @zbaird (above) gave me a couple of decades ago when he was trying to figure out how to get out of doing flooring and make a living in the rafting industry (thanks Zach!).
Keeping things on topic, the loop straps are all at the top loop of the strap tree, tails attached and buckle straps on one of them for quick access. It just occurred to me that another way to organize your loop straps would be to just run an old 2' strap through the loops of the non-buckle loops of your loop straps. Put all the buckle ends on the the crappiest non-buckle tail for each respective type of loop strap you've got. This way you can easily access any of the loop straps you want by disconnecting the main 2' strap that holds them together at the strap you want to rig with. I may just start doing this just to keep things separate from the strap tree.
On the strap tree, all the other straps of each length are attached to little 1' long tails that come off the main trunk of the strap tree. If you zoom in, you'll see that each of those tails os labeled with the length of the straps that go on it, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, etc. where it comes off the trunk. Straps usually just pull right out of the mass of straps hanging off the strap tree and it's very rare a strap gets knotted up in there. I keep the whole mess in a mesh bag along with other misc. strappage things.
If you can't get something like either of these systems, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, consider the other stuff folks have suggested. If I didn't have a Zach's strap tree, I'd be putting all my straps of each size on (retired) short straps to keep them organized.
Anything besides rolling your straps. Jeez. I did that for awhile when I was first starting out, and that's time I'll never get back in my all-too-short life. Now if I could just get a fraction of the time back that I've spent posting on MB...
YMMV
