Anyone have a DIY PVC style rod holder they strap to the side of their raft (similar to down rivers placement)? I would like to keep the top side of the boat open for kids and dog to get around easier. Thinking of cutting some slots for webbing and hanging it similar to how most store their spare parts. Some concern for reel position. Thanks.

I wanna say 1.5" or 2" inch. It's been a few years..
I have used 4" PVC with the screw on caps for years but I've also had too many jumbled messes to deal with when there are two or three rods in there at the same time. Once I get my frame on the boat I'm going to get some 2" PVC so I can use them for fly and spinning rods so they are also available if the mood strikes. Thanks for the ideas gents!
