Looking to buy a cat this season was wondering if anyone knew the max frame length of the rmr 16 foot im looking at the nrs fat cat 72x120 but was wanting to go longer also with this frame does anyone know how wide the cat will be? thanks for any help!

16 feet, dimensions are on the RMR website. They have a 10' wear strip on top of tubes. RMR tubes are 24 inch diameter so you will have roughly 12" of tube past the 72" frame on each side. So 72" wide frame with 12" tubes protruding from frame on each side puts boat at 96" wide.... Give or take a few inches.
I know 2 people with a RMR 16' cat and dont think you want to go any longer than 120". With that frame you have about 40 to 42 inches between the tubes so add 48" of tubes you are sitting at about 90 inches wide. I ran a aire lion with a 12' frame and 28" tubes so I was 8" wider and width was never an issue on low water Middle fork trips.
