Is the Dagger Green Boat for attainments worth it?

Call me crazy, but I love doing attainments. It's a great workout and amazingly fun.

I currently own a Remix 69 and have been doing attainments in that on a local river in Atlanta that is Class II. It works fine, but there are some chutes that I just can't seem to get up sometimes and I have to make a path around them in some easier water and it's just not as much fun. I have been considering dropping some cash on a Green Boat in hopes that it will make attainments more enjoyable. However, I'm wondering how much of a difference this will be and if it's worth dropping the cash on it. I know the added length has the claim to be "faster" and attainments may be easier, but I'm unsure by how much or the worth of it.

Anyone have any experience with these boats for this situation? I'd appreciate any input...

I haven't paddled a green boat (though would love to).

Longer boat = faster boat (everything else being equal I guess). A little bit of length, in my opinion, can make a huge difference. That being said, so does skill/technique.

Thought about finding a slalom boat?

You don't need to necessarily get that new of a boat if you're looking mainly to do attainments. Look around for some old school boats too- way cheaper and will do the job just dandy. Have you asked around on boatertalk?
