Its WR Grace Bituthene. Last I bought some, it was over $100 a roll. There are other water and ice shield mastics out there, but they don't stick like the bitch.

Try local home construction sites, look for one that is getting ready to do a roof. Carpenters are usually willing to let you cut a slice off a roll or take all their scrap cuts. It's over $100 here for a full roll, and that's enough for 1000's of repairs ;-)

Home Depot has some for about $15 for a 10 ft roll.

The Bitchathene definitely helps to keep things dry, but I got an ole Jefe that is busting apart at the seams. Everyday I boat I get more cracks.

I have committed to finishing out the season on it so I bought this cheap plastic welder $60 which I think works pretty good and it is easy to use. It also as a small amount of metal mesh for those trouble spots.

It is different from a heat gun as it has a small tip you put right on the plastic as opposed to blowing hot air.

not yet

As of yet I have no new breaks, but I know the 420 is close, and I put a major gouge in the mega, and seeing my luck and finances as of late I'm really paronoid(about gear destruction).

We'll see

Craig.

If you eddy out below that boof above poudre park, you can actually see large, red pieces of my boat stuck to the rock.
