Yampa space available

I just picked up a Yampa cancellation for June 17-21 (4 nights) - may add a night... Want to share the love & offer a few spaces on the trip. Will be relaxed, fun, do some hiking / moderate alcohol; It will be big water (I hope!)- I've done it twice at over 20k cf/s and it's not a concern. May have extra boat space as well. Let me know ASAP if you're interested- most of us will come from Boulder if you want to carpool. Email me on [email protected]

Should be some very high water. Keep an eye on the flows before you commit to launch. I'm launching about the same time and we're keeping an eye on the flow up there.
I've rafted there at high water- I'm not concerned; if you are putting in the same date and want to go through warm springs with us, let me know.
Sorry I ment to say we are launching about the same time on the Salmon in Idaho. Good Luck!

NOAA predicts it'll peak tomorrow at just under 17,000. My bet is that by the time you launch it'll be below 10,000 if not closer to 7. We'll be there next week. Have a good trip!
Looks like it made the 17,000 - now lets see what it does!
I did it at 17k once.

Just makes miles go by very quickly....
I'm seeing 16,600 and 16, 800. Where are you seeing 17,000? Gonna be a quick float to Teepee, that's for sure!
The Deerlodge graph looks like it hit 17,000 before dipping off last night - might have been a few thimblefuls shy but close enough :). The only one in the group I don't have faith in is myself and I'm not too proud to wait for hubby to walk back around; did it at Blossom Bar last week, can do it this next week at Warm Springs (she says making clucking noises). Yup, we don't have to worry about making the miles on the 20 mile days they gave us.

On a different note - are we the only ones who don't seem to be able to get dialed in for trips. I swear the boats get re rigged each time: modify, modify, tweak, tweak. Is it pathological? The boater equivalent of folding towels on the pysch floor? OCD? If we make it to pulling out time (tomorrow afternoon/evening???) without a dash to Moscow to NRS it will be a miracle.

I'm trying to decide whether or not I should run it or let MY hubby. He's stronger but I'm better technically. May need brawn with this water level!
We're always last off the beach; slow riggers for some reason. Oh well. No need to rush this trip!
Have a good trip!
