Some of the best slalom racers in the US and Colorado high Schools will test their skills on the Clear Creek Slalom Course. All boaters of all types welcome. No racing experience is required. Slalom Kayaks available for those interested. This weekend is part of the Colorado Cup Series and has classes of all craft types and based on Novice, Intermediate and Expert Classes.
Sunday will bring out the best slalom racers in the US to qualify for the chance to compete at the US Whitewater Slalom Team Trials in Durango on June 10-13.
Come join us as well as the US Canoe/Kayak Team Coach and Olympians Cathy Hearn and Ben Kvanli as they test the field. Compete against other kids your age and parents competing against other parents for precision on the friendly whitewater in Golden.
Race Shirts, lunch and great awards to competitors. Volunteers are always welcome.
75.00 Cash prize to the top boat in each Olympic Classifications in the Sunday Qualifier race. Come out and race as well cheer on your favorite slalom racers.

Friday- Downriver race from Hwy 93 - Ford Park (just above Coors Dam)
All Racers welcome to compete of all ages and boat classes.

Saturday- Colorado High School Whitewater Championships/Junior Olympic Slalom Trials and Front Range Whitewater Championships Slalom- Start at 9:30 . Registration until 9:15
Freestyle Competition at Library Hole 2:00
Sunday- Registration until 8:30- Race from 9-1
US Whitewater Slalom Team Trial Qualifiers/ Day 2 Colorado Cup and Front Range Whitewater Championships
