I think I'll be heading to the UK in the summer. Are there any rivers worth kayaking? I saw something about Snowdonia nat'l park. Does anyone have ideas or beta?

I've seen some pretty gnarly footage of Scotland but I have no idea what the name of the river was. The do have whitewater out there, tried Google yet?

I left the U.K in 1996, but my recollection is that the whitewater season is November to March. Outside that time kayaks are not allowed on lots of river.

The Tryweryn in North Wales fed by a dam and I think there are releases year round.

What part of the UK? Any place in particular? I have a contact in Finland that is very familiar with that part of the world!! I could send him an email! From what I've heard, it's the same as others are saying about the boating season being winter. I'll try and confirm? I'm sure there is something to do!

Cheers!
