where would you go for whitewater?

I am thinking idaho.

I am looking for class 3-4 and solid 4 anywhere but here in Colorado.

The rivers are low here, I want to hit the road.

Who has consistant whitewater right now? I am thinking Payettes, but want to hear other options.

I am homeless and unemployed, so time is not a factor, in fact I would be gone for a few weeks, it might be an ok time to go to PNW as well. thoughts?

Idaho... Payette, Snake, Day trip sections of the salmon.
But for playing around Boise, the payette can't be beat for its proximity to town.
Low water time of the year. Look for releases or aquifer fed runs. Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon all have runs going in the grade you are looking for. I'd suggest just linking them all up. If you can afford to drive to PNW you can afford to stop along the way and get more runs in.

Not much will be prime but these should all be runnable and this would be a rough order heading out:

Snake, Grey's, Gallatin, Beartrap of the Madison, Alberton Gorge of the Clark Fork, South Payette, Main Payette, Farmlands on the White Salmon, Middle White Salmon, Green Truss (maybe too hard or maybe right with low levels and portages), Deschutes.
Southeast.

Lots of things running now.

New River
Ocoee
Green
West Fork Tuck (this weekend)
Chattooga
Somewhere with warm water…

That would be nice! :D
You could always go visit Leif and Natalie on the Slave. If I was unemployed and homeless that is where I would go. The water is warm there too.
Northern Mexico. Beginning of monsoon season.

Uh oh, Jen give you the boot (hope not...)?

This would be my recommendation too, but most people I know go there in early winter. So, I'm not sure how much stuff is running. Atom and Ross know all the details of that region.

No, no. we are very happy and together. I need to choose my wording better. I am looking to see some new places, and have plenty of time.

some really great ideas here, thank you. Glenn, that is quite a list. I think I will go for a portion of that.
Glenn's list is great. I would add the Shoshone near Cody, WY to that list.
