So I have this weekend free to celebrate my Independence and had planned on a backpacking trip to get away from the heat and smog in N. Utah but hiking partner screwed up her knee. So I am taking recommendations for a last minute float down a river.
I have access to duckies and a raft and would prefer not to drive for most of the days I have off.
Any recommendations for the best multi-day float or an overnighter?
I like whitewater but most multi-days need a permit so I would be open to flatwater. I was thinking the ABC section of the green, or maybe the Henry's Fork, N. Platte...

What else? I feel like I am forgetting something...

Happy boating.

Sounds pretty good. The Moab daily is fun (and will be hot)... Can I do it overnight? And camp along the way?

What about the Blackfoot near Pocatello? Anyone ever run that? It is supposed to be 23 miles with some whitewater.
