remix?
Medium Karma... I paddle a large, but am not too picky about boats. I still think the Jefe Grande is an excellent boat. But the karma is pretty sweet, really good at following the green water.
What do you want, tracking or heavy rocker? It's one or the other. Stomper is a great creek boat because of the major rocker profile, which allows it to get up and over anything and auto boof. Remix tracks better with a longer water line, lower rocker. If you want a creek boat that performs best on creeks, you are going to sacrifice some in bigger water. The Shiva or Recon might track a bit better than the Stomper, but it is nothing that the pilot can't adjust to. If you want tracking, speed and semi-displacement, get a remix 79. It has plenty of volume, the "79" is a bit misleading.

How much do you weigh? I'm right at the upper limit of a medium… the large seems like a huge boat though. I will need to demo one I guess.

Heavy rocker isn't a must but I would like a boat similar to the stomper that tracks a little better. I recently picked up a new burn and I'm not sure I dig it. Mostly because the hull is not what I'm used to and the knees are fairly narrow. I think I really like a semi-displacement hull better, but I really enjoy how fast and how well the burn tracks. I will add the remix to the list… If I find something I like better I will have a brand spanking new XL burn for sale...
I have a Remix you could paddle on Foxton/Waterton to get a feel for if you want.
My weight is somewhere around 200lbs plus or minus. Definitely a big boat, great for creeking, might not be the best big water boat, but hasn't stopped me from paddling down scary big water. Boofs well, lands well, resurfaces real quick. Great at super sporty moves. Weighs a lot, but that might just be mine, serious.
