There's a pinned boat in s-turn in waterton canyon, mid-river, about 1.5 feet under water. It's pinned really hard, and we're going back in on Thurs. to try and get it out. Will require z-drag, or other similar system. Pls contact Paul R. 303.304.6050

Thanks for the info. Be sure that when you (or anybody) are seperated from your boat and it is still in (or around) the river that law inforcement is informed and that they don't have to alert search and rescue (if indeed they don't). Just in case someone reports a boat without paddler.

remember one thing. a slight change in flow could release the pin and the boat will float down to the lake. I've left boats that were so pinned that I never thought there would be anyway they would float away. when I returned, they were gone. I found it downstream on shore. Anyway, my point is, maybe don't wait until thursday.

thx for the tip guys...will try and mobilize my crew for tonight...will also notify the proper authorities

douglas county authorities have been notified
