I just checked with JeffCo. The road down to Waterton is open! Flows are in the cool 380 range, which is well above my 300 minimum. There are about 30 eddies to catch from GB to the pond. Can you catch them all?

Waterton Hazards

The best part about an early-season Waterton run is that you never take shuttle for granted again all year.

FYI, the "flake" at Avalanche continues to move to the left. There's a nasty sieve there which now contains a paddle and very nearly contained a boater. Be aware of this hazard. With that said, the hairy ferry across the sieve from the river left eddy is still a beaut!

Wood:
3/4 channel submerged log near top of the intro boogie; easy to spot and go right.
Log in the left channel on the "boogie water where the channel splits and there's the really, really big rock on the left." You'll see it.
There's wood in the right notch boof line in green bridge.
