Hit waterton last night at about 790 cfs. What a fun level. The play is much better than at lower water levels. Its got some good current and a little push to dust off those early season eddy and ferry skills. It seems that most people end up running waterton when its low when nothing else is running. I guess this is because the north fork usually is running to get waterton up, and foxton and bailey are better options then. If you haven't hit wateron at this level (800 cfs) its worth it. There is still some snow on the banks, but no problems. We had a blast last night and were happy to be there. Get it while the water is up!

A visual on foxton / north fork is that it is very low, and didn't look boatable (150 cfs?), but the river is not iced up. All the little tiny side creeks are running and there is still a good bit of snow on the ground in places on the drive in to waterton.
