Hey Ya'll
The crowd is growing for the up coming race tomorrow and we have been checking out the run with all different flows the past couple days.

Yesterday we did a high water run and the river was very doable. All the rapids line up well and the water pretty much takes you where you need to be. It is pushy and fast but fairly controllable. Last night it was cold and stuff dropped more than it has in the past week. Its supposed to be cold again tonight so I expect water to stay fairly sane throughout the race.

I hope lots of folks come up to take part or at least check it out its going to be awesome.

Registration will be tomorrow morning from 8:00 am til 9:00ish.

We will all start walking up after that and have the race going by 11:00am.
If all goes well we will try to get it all done on Saturday.
First will be the down river race, and then the Giant Slalom.
If not we will push the GS to Sunday morning.

John Grace just showed up with prizes for lots of folks not just the meat head fast people. There is even a specific prize for second to last place.
Today John and I will be setting the course. Should be epic fun.

Is there going to be any nude racing at this event? Are nude race runs going to be allowed?

Seriously though, seems like it will be an ideal racing and general paddling level if it has dropped a bit since last night - padded but not crazy. Seems like there is a solid contingent of visiting paddlers who are going to race, so CO boys/girls get out there on the home turf!
