Anyone have any fixes for sticky stream machines?....they're not expensive, so it's not a big deal, but other than being so sticky as to be useless I have two that are otherwise fine. I thought of firing lithium grease into the barrel - but what goes in must come out, so thought better of it.

If I remember right, the nozzle should unscrew to allow flushing and cleaning, grit likes to get stuck inside. You can probably sand the inner gasket slightly to make it fit a little looser, or apply a tiny bit of grease to it.

i use a non-stick cooking spray (pam). i just spray it on the internal shaft, then give it a couple pumps. works good for a week or so

I didn't realize the ends came off - a thorough flushing and some petroleum jelly and they're almost as good as new.
