Some piece of shit stole my kayak rack off of my car some time this past weekend. It was a Yakima Kayak Stacker, which is pretty easy to get off. I hope this wasn't a boater and it was just some strung out meth-head, but if it was, may the river gods take your soul!

ps

Keep an eye on your kayak stuff in Durango, I have heard about several people losing boats, gear and now racks.

stolen kayak stackers, thats the worst news i heard all day.

karma will be on your side brother.

funny story. I was driving back from Jackson Hole this last weekend. and was about 45 miles out of town. This Homax fuel truck coming back from the rigs pulls out on the highway. he is a total ass hole, cuts your off when you try to pass and goes 65 when you can't pass due to cars coming. so we get closer to town and just as we pass the city limits sign there's a sheriff waiting for the dude. so we got a good laugh especially when we got to pass the dude as he was getting pulled over.

thats shitty when you can't trust people. More than likely its a strung out meth head tired of sucking **** for money, we have lots of those b**ta*ds here.that's why i keep my shit in a topper.

sorry

Same thing happended to me about 10 years ago. I put a piece of cable through the stacker mount swedged loops on both sides and put a lock on it. It pretty lives on my rack all time but no one's tried to steal it since then. You know what they say "trust but verify"
