This is listed in Lost and Found, but I wanted to also add it to the main boaters forum too to be sure everyone sees this. We had a red Herc stolen on Saturday at the Boulder white water park in quick brazen move. The boat is covered in black line markings that make it very unique, plus the fact that it's outfitted as a C-1, so any numbskull who's clueless about paddlesports may just try to sell it as a kayak, not knowing it is a C-1. Please keep an eye out for it, as this is not your normal kayak, it is set up as a C-1. Unfortunately in this day, the boating community all needs to help watch out for each others boats and cars at all times. Thanks,

Jeez- how narrow of a market is there for a C-1 creeker? That person has about a 0.004% of unloading it without being spotting by a fellow boater. Make sure you post a BOLO message on all the Craigslist regions in CO, NM, WY and UT. and call some pawn shops in the Denver area. Prolly some crackhead.

Years ago I had a creekboat stolen out of my yard on the south side of Durango. I put up signs in the laundromats and on some street corners, and 2 weeks later I walked out of my front door in the morning to find it sitting on the lawn. My guess is that some kid's mom didn't buy his story about how it "found" it, or she saw one of my signs, and she made him take it back.

So sometimes it works out.
