I bought a new X-Traxt PFD last year and used it about a dozen times. After the frist few times it started to rip at the waist belt on the right hand side were the belt runs into the fabric.

Has anyone had any issues with this PFD that is simular? I have another PFD by Stohlquist and it took about 6 years to actually rip at all in that same area, so I don't think it's a abuse issue.

I have never had any problems with my Stohlquist equipment, pfd's or drytops. Call them and discuss it with them.
