you'll want at least 160 cfs of flow on the the north fork for this run. Its a really good beginner run. There are only two drops of note. The first is within 1/4 mile of the apple valley bridge. Its a log jam with a chute down the river right side. If you're nervous about this one, portage on river left. The second comes right above the top of the play park. Just ride this one straight down the middle and ya should be fine.
The play park itself might be worth running for beginners. It'd be super scrappy towards the bottom part. The drops themselves in the actual play park would be excellent for beginners. It's actually where I had my first river run. If you're lookin for a good beginner run around the area my best suggestion is the filter plant run on the poudre. The level is still very good up there right now. Filter plant is super easy with one exciting/easy class III rapid towards the last 1/3 of the run.
na, it really needs more flow to be worth anything unless you're gonna do some playboating in black bear. I'd strongly suggest the filter plant as a beginner run. Its got a little bit of play, lots of eddies, and easy lines.
