Hi all-

I'm thinking about paddling South Fork of the South Platte below Deckers and taking out above the Chutes on Saturday and wanted to get some feedback on if the current levels there are good for a canoe. I've had no problems paddling there before, but haven't been in a few years so I wanted to get some feedback on if the current flow is tame enough for an open canoe.

I'm a solid II+ canoeist but will be taking some people that are good canoeist but most of their prior experience has been flat water.

Thanks,

Allen

It would be a good section for you and your buds but not below 300 CFS. It's pretty rocky without water.
