Has anyone seen this, and/or know how it would be received on national/wild &scenic rivers with campfire regs?

Dang, I thought for sure that somebody would weigh in on this product...

I checked it out in person, and it appears to be a very solid and quality construction. They even make accessories such as a pizza oven, griddle tops and whatnot. I'm kinda impressed how flat the entire setup folds down to as well.

But, if it isn't authorized for use on those rivers where the rangers check your gear, then that would be problematic. I can see a fire blanket being needed in addition, but everything else looks pretty legit to unless I'm missing something...

Damn, 23 pounds ?!?!?!?! $250.00 dollars ????
For starters, I could imagine having a discussion with a ranger about whether or not it has 1.5 inch sides, it sorta does, but... Why buy this when Fireside makes pop up pits ? Less than 1/2 the cost, 1/10th the weight and works well. Since I've bought one, I've never thought about bringing my heavy ass fire pan along.

I wasn't sure about the PUP. I randomly saw it online a while ago, and it seemed "too good to be true/looked a bit flimsy/gimmicky. But now that I hear some of you talking it up, I've looked into the PUP more, and would have to agree that it does seem like the PUP is worth its salt.
