I saw in one of the local papers Silverthorne was deepening the Blue through town. Sounds like the fisherman are putting some cash for this one.

Too bad us boaters won't get a feature or two, especially after the miserable failure of Breck's park. Summit needs some play, Frisco still has some hope though.

What happened with the Breck park? How does one go about making changes to there local river? The Animas has alot to offer but needs some work.

Looks like the features in the Beck park are designed for more water than the streambed can handle. The few days we had a couple hundred cfs going through, the bottom several features flooded out. The features upstream were useless.

I wonder if budgets for play parks should include a reserve for adjusting the park after a year based on performance.

A play park in Silverthorne seems like it would be short of water. I don't think Silverthorne has seen more than 100 cfs in quite a while. All the water is shipped over to Bailey/Foxton.
