We were lucky enough to do an 18 day trip down the GC in September. The weather was great, the rapids were fun (no flips) and the group was tremendous. I really want to thank Canyon REO through this website for the fantastic job in outfitting us for this trip. We took our 18' cat then rented 5 18' boats from Canyon REO. They also supplied our food, kitchen, groovers, shuttles, etc. The food was excellent and we had so much! We had a number of people between 21 and 31 years old with big appetites. We were able to offer seconds and thirds to everyone. The kitchen that they provided was incredible - a 6 burner Partner Steel stove, master blaster, propane, paper towels - everything that anyone might possibly need for preparing and cooking meals.

We were met at Lee's Ferry by Donnie, the owner of Canyon REO, and 2 of him employees to rig the boats which went very smoothly - we were able to put in right after our ranger talk the next morning. The boats performed great!! Canyon REO went above and beyond to get us out of Diamond Creek. It flashed at 3000 cfs the day before our take-out and hadn't been repaired by the time we got there. Donnie (the owner of Canyon REO) worked tirelessly with the Hualapai Nation to get the grader there. He started speaking with them right after the flash flood. It was after 4pm that they were able to get their truck down to the take-out. They were able to get all of our personal gear including our 18' cat back to Flagstaff but had to return the next day to pick up all the gear we rented from them. It was after 9pm and Canyon REO staff was on hand to help us empty our gear from their truck.

THANKS CANYON REO - YOU MADE OUR TRIP WORRY FREE!

Used REO for food pack and transport on a GC trip a few years back.

Good menu, plenty of food (we found a big zip lock bag of chocolate hidden in one cooler - what a treat), monster steaks and great ride to put in and from Diamond Creek back. Had a really nice lunch and cold drinks at Peach Springs on the way back to Flag. We had our own boats and gear but REO did a good job making the trip easier for us.
