I have my 1st trip on the Selway this summer starting the 1st week of July, and am looking for a recommendation. Play boat or creek boat. I can only bring one boat out west on the train. If there are good waves or other play features to be expected, definitely play boat. If it's a classic river run without those features, creeker.

Any advice?

playboat- we ran it at 4.5 feet, which is much higher than it will be by then... I'm not a stellar boater by any means either.
