Thinking about going to The Ride Festival this week and wondering what the logistics of the San Miguel are... How long does it take? Where are the put-ins/take-outs? Wondering if it would be worth it to skip out on a couple of the early bands on Sunday for a quick trip down a new river...? Any help would be fantastic, thanks!

Make sure you get beta on section you plan to run, a recent thread had info on some very dangerous low head dams on the san miguel.

Roadside. Super easy logistics. Easily hitchhiked shuttle. "Upper" section is ~8 miles long. Can be done in ~2.5 hours from town and back including hitching shuttle.

Hopefully it keeps raining, and the level stays good!!

Thanks for the info! Tickets for the show are just too damn costly though... maybe next year.
