Have Permit for the San Juan River from Bluff UT to Clay Hills Crossing, can take 2 more rafts. Beautiful trip!
Seeking Adult boaters/rafters, launch date June 26, probably 6 nights on the river.
Preference Colorado Front Range rafters, but will consider nearby or West slope
Must be able-bodied to take own boat/raft and/or help out, comfortable doing mostly Class II w one Class III rapids.
Takeout at Clay Hills Crossing on Lake Powell as the San Juan exits.
Boaters w at most 1 passenger, prefer able-bodied guys but able-bodied women w their own boat OK, same as guys
Absolutely no one under age 18 not even if it is your own child; preference for above age 21.
Must have own gear like raft, all equipment, PFDs V, etc.
Must be willing to share common boating duties like groover duty, shuttle (have own car) & other camp hygiene and clean-up
Usually late morning starts on river, like 9 AM or after, may have long days like 8 hours before next camp.
Like doing hikes? so do I. Lots of rock-art petroglyph panels and River House Ruin as side hikes lasting 1-2 hours
