I haven't been on the Salt in a few years. What are the good campsites? Have any of the sites changed or become washed out or not desirable from the floods this year?

I haven't been down this year, but there is an important change in recent years that you should be aware of... The are 2 campsites with ruins on river right above the salt flats/springs(?) (The spot where the salt spring falls into river right) These campsites are listed on older maps, but are now very off limits due to the Apache regs. If you get caught there it will be very, very expensive.

Thanks for that Info Eddie. Just can't remember the good sites except Cherry Creek and one on river left after Quartzite that was good to get when you still had to portage before it was blown up.

there are some nice new big beaches from the floods but there are some that are kinda washed out. in particular the camps below cherry creek although there is a huge beach on river left maybe 1/4 to 1/2 mile below if you come upon it and its occupied.
