So I live in Fort Collins so every park and play is a 3:30 hour drive i.e Casper, Glenwood. I am trying add some new tricks to my repertoire beside the flat spin and occasional cartwheel i.e. the loop. Does anybody know if any of the features are deep enough and loop learning friendly to make the drive worth it.

Also unfortunately the only day in the next week and a half I can paddle is on the fourth. All my paddling buddies are talking about going up to jackson but I can't due to work because I only have the fourth off. So i'm looking for somebody to run barrel springs and shoshone.

left spot in salida is deep to loop even in low water for sure, if you are not intermediated by shallow rocks surrounding it, or get worked a bit when loosing control.

Casper is good right now. I would recommend it over BV or Salida at current flows. Same amount of time to get to.

You can loop in flat-water ;) .. I'd check the golden park to make it more interesting and close to home.

Glenwood is deep enough to loop. Some people (wussies) say that the hole is too much of a pour over and that it trashes boaters.

However, I'd drive north into WY and not this direction.
