Early November should be fine, especially if you are prepared for rain/snow.
But years ago I paddled WW in 2nd week of December. Brutal cold wind but that wasn't biggest problem. Even with reasonably early put on it was getting dark by time we reached take out. No margin for error.
Are you camping? Great time of year to be there, unless it's raining sideways--which means hellacious winds. Bring lots of firewood, plan on the sun (if you get any) to set over the canyon walls about 3-3:30 pm and the temps to drop immediately.
I solo'd it one Thanksgiving day and night, and had a nice time, great sunny winter weather--read a lot and hit the sack by 8 pm. Great getaway from it all trip. Did wear a drysuit for the rapids just in case.
