The water on the Ark may be low, but that does not mean that there is no paddling or partying to be had. Come down to The South Main Town Square on July 6th and 7th for live reggae, cold beer and some paddling (or SUP). Staircase and LoDo are pretty fun on a SUP at this level, and the upper hole is deep enough for some vertical moves (330cfs)...

The beer is tapped both days around NOON (and rocking some dancehall and dub on the iPod), the live music begins at 6:00PM and ends just in time to head over to Deerhammer for a High Roller or 2.

All proceeds to go non-profits like the Chaffee Mentors.

Come surf, have a cocktail for a good cause!!

Not sure how many of you are in BV today, but CKS will have free SUP and paddle demos from 1-4 today as well. There's tunes cranking from the lawn in South Main, beer is tapped at NOON, and pizza.

The water is pretty fun for river surfing; Staircase, Downtown and LoDo are all surfable. Lots of good Class II and one III- for downriver SUP.

LIVE reggae at 5PM.
