It's been many years since I did the Chama, taking out at Big Eddy below Chavez Canyon. When I was there last, you couldn't get a trailer to the river, had to haul all the gear up past some giant rocks that blocked anyone from driving a trailer close to the water. Is this still the case, or can I back my trailer down there and load my boat on the trailer right at the river?

You cannot back your trailer to the boat ramp at Big Eddy (chama river takeout) or at Chavez.
