A professor sent this to me in regards to financial planning. Pretty funny. The meaning of life?

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock
one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have less than $5.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of Beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling price, you
would have $214.00.

Based on the above, current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

It's called the 401-Keg Plan.

Amen.

Not so sure how you're going to get $200 from recycling the cans from $1000 worth of beer...

I don't know about the rest of you losers but I'm playing the lotto numbers they post in the Weekly World News. It won't be long now before I'll be retiring in a big house on the ranch next to the Westwater Ranger Station!

I believe that Joe, the owner of that ranch is interested in selling it. IIRC, the asking price is around 3 million. Hope you're playing Powerball, not the regular Lotto.
