I'd like to thank Dan at Pro-loks for making me a custom set of oarlocks that lets me adjust the height of my oarlocks up to 2" higher than the standard NRS or Cobra. They're made out of stainless and have a 1" and a 2" bushing that can be removed as needed.

ps they seem lighter than the brass locks and look strong

They are lighter. Not including rope or oar rights, which add weight to the brass ones.

One thing I need to find is the right lube. Moving the oars further from the towers seems to increase the friction on my towers. Maybe I need to machine them out and go with bushings.

Has anyone done this with good effect?

That's slick. I need to get a set and relegate my superstons to spare duty.
