Does anyone know of a good place that does i-beam repair close to Vail? I've heard good things about River Rat Ray in Salida, but it's a little far. Would like to not have to drive to Denver either.
Well first off Ray is excellent in every sense of the word. 2 thumbs up and a 10. Medium people skills but he makes up for it in quality and service. And it is not that far from Vail. Nice drive also and you can get in a lick or two on the Ark. TJ
They replaced two I-beams in my floor and patched about 40 leaks in a used raft I bought this spring. They were recommended by a friend of mine who is a total raft head and I trusted his opinion and it worked out fine.
They patched the leaks from the inside so it looks great. The I-beam replacement left a Frankenstein patch down the length of the bottom of my floor but this boat stays hard for days and the floor is working out fine.
