I'm putting together a new boat and need all the ideas for rigging I can get. So, do me a favor and post tons of photos and descriptions of how you roll. Tell me what works, what doesn't, and anything you'd do differently.

Thanks!

15’ Maravia Zepher. Recretec frame.
Front dry box is kitchen with Recretec table on top. Canyon 150qt cooler. Between the from dry box and cooler, Recretec left me a big enough gap to slide my fit pan in on edge.
Diamond plate floor.
Back dry box because it is latched in has the bar and personal day use gear.
I’ve since mounted footman’s loops on the yellow Pelican so it can be accessed without removing straps. Both dry boxes are covered with Seadeck now.
Pacific bag in the back.
every strap is either a loop strap or is hitched.
Always the last to start loading, with the kitchen, but always the first done. Fire pan toward the front makes for a well balanced boat.

Right?! The last thing I want to do it trash someone’s boat (I’ve been there, I’ve done the budget boat thing), but there is definitely a reason I scraped and saved for years to get a quality boat. Saying that little Saturn paddle cat can do everything a boat from a reputable manufacturer can do is simply not true.

Ill put it this way, can a Walmart backpack carry a days worth of gear the same as my American made Mystery Ranch hunting pack? Probably, but when I add 100lbs of elk to that pack it will definitely shit the bed, while my mystery ranch will say thank you and ask for more…and it’ll keep doing that for 10+ years.
But my back would also shit the bed. It’s built more like a Walmart back. Though it IS American made.
