Just got off a Labyrinth trip and finally at a point where I'm stoked on the rigging. DRE frame done up custom on a 14' RMR.

I'm putting together a new boat and need all the ideas for rigging I can get. So, do me a favor and post tons of photos and descriptions of how you roll. Tell me what works, what doesn't, and anything you'd do differently.

Was pretty excited how this came together. Home made 1.25 frame. Chainsaw ripped pine slab that I planed down to (almost) flat. Custom bags from Stitches n' Stuff. Geometry could be better and it gets heavy to push on long days but super fun and sporty. Ran Shoshone with a buddy sitting up front no problem.
Man I really cocked up posting my lovely lil phatcat right before some good ol fashioned bickering. Come on folks! Gimme that sweet sweet validation. 😆
I have yet to put enough weight on it to notice it feeling sluggish. 170 lb buddy up front didnt tip the scale too bad at all. I rigged it for a San Juan 3 day with support from other boats, and had no problems there. Occasionally if I'm pushing hard on the oars I hear a little slosh from the front cooler dragging.
Id have to get it on a scale but... 90 lbs? Light enough that I can easily drag it around but too heavy to comfortably pick up? With two people it schelps around easily by grabbing onto the fat straps fore and aft.Haha, apologies. That is definitely a sick boat for sure. Any idea on the weight with the frame and empty bags?
