Back when I was a guide there's all sorts of ridiculus stories that circulate that you tell visiting gapers on a raft. But one has to wonder now and again what is true and what is not.

One that has me curious that I am not able to find on the internet is: What is the most popular river in the world?(paddled in a raft kayak or otherwise?) I'm looking for statistics, boats or people through a stretch of river. Now, I've heard and I've told customers that it is Brown's Canyon on the Ark but I remember no stats and I don't even know if I was telling the truth in the first place. Can anyone tell me this info? Or point me to somewhere where I can get this information? Thanks....

We used to tell customers that the "No Name" highway exit off the Shoshone didn't mean the area had no name but was acutally named after Princess Noname of the Shoshone Indian tribe. They'd buy it too, "wow really?"
