It is apparantly good to go right now. (I am talking the lower section.) Do you think it will still be OK over the weekend of the 4th of July? I am deciding between Taylor/Arkansas and St Vrain/Poudre for the weekend.
thanks,
Chris Kelly

NSV will NOT be ok for the 4th of July. I guarantee it. Arkansas is a much better bet as it gets a little water released for the rafters...

If you're going on the 4th, I would recommend the Ark. We will be way past peak by then and the Ark will have a lot more options that are fun at low water, (Pine Creek, Numbers, Gorge, even Browns.)

NSV is no fun at low water. Poudre is ok but you may get bored faster than you would at the Ark.

Lower NSV min is abot 250 CFS. It's up today, but the windows have been pretty brief.... I'd bet the spigot will be shut off before the 4th.
