I am determined to acquire a long overdue backup paddle option.

I assume the Power Pawz give a lot more power than the flexible webbed NRS Propulsion gloves.
But NRS makes great glove products, and I am sure the Propulsions are easier to get in the stern of a small boat.

Does anyone have experience with these products, or can you suggest other options?

power pawz

as far as handpaddles go, power pawz are the best. Gloves are really not going to give you much more purchase than your bare hands. The pawz are wicked easy to store in any boat, even a small spud boat. make sure to practice paddleing with them to get comfortable handpaddleing if you plan to use them as a realistic backup.
