On February 9, 1890, Bob Stanton and his crew were camped at Crystal Rapid on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon.

Come join me on February 9, 2016, in Albuquerque, NM, for a presentation on Otis Marston and his book From Powell To Power: A Recounting of the First One Hundred River Runners Through the Grand Canyon. The event is free and open to the public. We will have copies of Marston's book for sale, along with other Vishnu Temple Press books as a fundraiser for the Adobe Whitewater Club. We will also have copies of Flipped Out as a fundraiser for Grand Canyon Youth.

The presentation is at Papa Felipe's Mexican Restaurant, 9800 Menaul Blvd NE in Albuquerque. The presentation begins at 6:30 PM.

Hope to see you there!

I'll be there

Sounds great - looking forward to it.

There's no 'L' in ABQ though. Burque is also acceptable, or the Duke City, or Albuquerque, but there is no ALBQ... :)

Hope you all have a great visit!
