Poudre Whitewater Park Update. WE'RE ON THE BUDGET! Need your help to approve it!

I tried to update my sticky, but I guess I haven't done so in 96 days. sorry...

Finally an update on the Fort Collins Whitewater Park effort! A lot of hard work has gone in to convincing the City that we need this in our town. Thank you to all of you that wrote emails to [email protected]. They read all of them and each one has brought us closer to a play park reality.

Great news, we're officially on the city budget plan for 2015 and 2016, and we need your help with the approval. Please go this website:

Select the "Green" button on item 21.1 if you approve the Poudre Downtown project that includes the whitewater park. Clicking the description will show a "kayak park" included in this. The total costs include building the park, the hardscaping, and other land improvements for the entire section between College and BNSF railway.

You can select 4 green lights, and 4 red lights, then submit your comments below and click Submit.
