As a non racin fan I have to ask the buzz - who will win this year????

Over the past few years it is fair to say that Demshitz just dominated this race...

Will it be someone new or will Demshitz again dominate the Pine Creek Race????

I see Fucilli, Ross, and Siler in the finals again but that is just the bet I would make...

So what is your prediction??

• Demshitz - who?
• Fuscilli, aka Pasta, will get noodle arms and get smoked in first round
• Seiler - will be in holding cell in Salida and unavailable to race
• Ross - solid
• Darkhorse - Calhoos is fierce
• Weather - beautiful

Sure Fire Bets -

• Finney - claiming photo op for Kayak Session, goes for swim in Datwhole
• EJ - scores 1350 during his ride in Datwhole
• Winner - the spectators

Demshitz threw down. Fuscilli did get noodle arms but not until the finals when he had a close encounter with da hole. Finals saw 5 boaters arrive at the move above the hole within a couple boat lengths of each other. By far the best heat of the day. Josh B. was smoking in first, (he had some beautiful super fast carving lines by the hole most of the day) another Pyrahna boy was in second, Bryan Kirk in 3rd and Seiler and Dave F. in 4th and 5th. I had heard some trash talking about all the P. boys teaming up on the lone WS guy... Kirk had to take plan B and go right of the hole at the last second, he came out the back side in second and they were all spent but bustin. Josh Becktle sp? looked to be in control but after 4 races and 4 hikes to the top he missed the fast line at the lower boof and Bryan overtook him to win. Very hard to pass on that course and Bryan passed 2 at the end of the finals run, very cool to watch.

Freestyle prelims tomorrow and I predict some new combo moves will be showing up.

It is amazing that Kirk has not won one before. He was sayin right before the race that he loves the bigger water... Got out of the gate dead last and passed everyone.... Sick race..

To Fucilli's credit he may have had the hardest heat races of the bunch.

That last heat with 5 boaters was right there with the best heat the race I have ever seen. It was great to see them runnin 4-5 wide just above the hole and everyone was goin for the win....

Now for just a little shit talkin... While Demshitz may not have come home with the belt this year - they had a great showing with 4 pyrahna boats and BK in the finals... Fair to say that demshitz got it done again in the Pine Creek race...
