in other news I just sat in on a logistics meeting for this and one of the major goals is to keep it out of the Piedra drainage, East (private) and North (private) and let it burn West into USFS land

I've noticed the billowing smoke on my drive home up Florida Road the last three evenings. Reminds me of ten years ago...

That sucks. I watched that one happen. Lots more beetle kill to burn up down there now.
