Hi,

I have to believe there are people in the audience there who are offended by the use of motors in this event.

I mean, that looks like an evil two stroke, for goodness sake. The noise. The pollution. The unseemly speed. The desecration of natural pumpkin propulsion potential.

The horror of it all. Surely there are ways to prevent this kind of travesty...

I spent a lot of time in Nobleboro from the '60s to early '80s, only thing that ever drew a crowd was the canoe race down the lake/river into town, looks like Damariscotta has become a little more popular.
