Anybody know the title/where to get the book of knots that has red and blue ropes included and the pages have little holes that show you how to tie the knots? The holes allow you to tie the knot directly into the page.
I believe it's the Klutz (that's publisher) Knot Book. There's also a book called Learn to Sail! which was the only source I ever found that was better than the Klutz book (it gives really good explanations of when, where, and why to use each particular knot). I used to have a neat little card game with 52 different knots and scenarios that was a provided a fun way to practice them, too.
BTW, that technique of using two different cord colors to learn knot tying works great, too. I used it to teach my twin sons to tie their shoes real quick-like when they were only about 14 - no wait, I mean 4 years old. But then I just found the Fieggan Shoelace Knot.
