The old girl had many pinhole leaks that bubbled with the paint job. I’ve often wondered if the repaint was a really poor professional job or a pretty good amateur job.
When the lady at Maravia told me how to find the manufacture date from the serial number I told her she must be mistaken ‘cause there’s no way this boat is that old, and I probably wouldn’t have bought it if I’d known how old it was.
Here's a shot of my 1986 NRS Sprite 13.5' . 35 years old.
She's got some small pinhole leaks and needs a daily pump, but still goes on fishing trips here in CO.
