I figured out how to get an accurate reading for the October Hole. The current gage on Phateye/Mountainbuzz is the combination of the St Vrain Supply Canal and the St Vrain River at Lyons (BlackBear Hole). This number does not take into consideration the water being syphoned off for Boulder Reservoir, which right now is around 80 cfs. I found a gage for the Boulder Res feeder canal, which is this one.

SImple subtract this gage from the the St Vrain at Lyons (October Hole) and you have an accurate reading of the October Hole. RIght now the accruate reading is about 190 cfs, which is where it has been for the past month or so. I sent this on to Phateye so you may see a drop off to the more accruate reading here shortly
